I recently started playing around with Twitter, again, and something has finally clicked.  I get it now.  Or at least, I get that there’s much more to it that I thought, and I’m having fun learning it.  One cool aspect of it is that people who know lots more than me include great info in their tweets.  A couple of days ago, IABC member Ronna Porter (formerly in the UK, now in Germany) sent a link about a great document with useful Twitter Tips by Joel Comm, available for free as a PDF file from his website.  I downloaded it, and it’s filling in lots of holes for me, especially about business uses for Twitter, including brand-building.  I don’t think Joel is an IABC member (yet), but I’m following him now on Twitter, and will try to make contact sometime soon.

Any other IABC members out there using Twitter?  Let me know, I’d love to build up a big IABC group following each other, as an experiment on how we could use it to strengthen and expand our network.

If you want to follow me, my Twitter ID is “Barb_G”.

UPDATE:  Just came across another eXchange post on the Twitter topic
